The film is about Ravi Chandra the film’s hero and Sagara Kanya a mermaid, Ravi’s cousin who loves him. They stay with some comedians in a house near the seashore. The villain of the film tries to acquire a ship that sank with a lot of treasure on board. He allies himself with a witch who helps him in finding the treasure. He chooses the cast based on their previous experience and arranges the setting to fit the story, the music that is associated with the story also makes one feel the romance and adventure in the film, overall a great movie.
